We at Holy Shine Cleaners (located at www.holyshinecleaners.com) are committed to ensuring our website is accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities.

 

What Web Accessibility Is​

An accessible website enables all visitors, including those with vision, hearing, motor, or cognitive impairments, to browse, navigate, and interact with site content with the same ease and functionality as other users. This can be achieved through accessible coding, clear structure, appropriate design, and compatibility with assistive technologies like screen readers and keyboard navigation tools.

Accessibility Adjustments on This Site

We are continuously improving our site’s accessibility. As part of our efforts, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, and aim to meet Level AA compliance across all key pages and features.

Accessibility enhancements made to the website include:

  • Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to detect and fix accessibility issues

  • Set the default language of the site (English) for screen reader compatibility

  • Adjusted the logical content order on all pages

  • Implemented proper heading structures (H1, H2, etc.) for clarity and screen reader support

  • Added alternative text (“alt text”) for all meaningful images

  • Used color combinations that meet WCAG contrast requirements for visual clarity

  • Minimized motion effects and auto-play animations to prevent sensory sensitivity triggers

  • Ensured that video, audio, and downloadable content meet basic accessibility requirements

  • Made our service descriptions and invoice-related content accessible across devices

We are also reviewing accessibility practices on an ongoing basis to improve usability as standards evolve.

Declaration of Partial Compliance Due to Third-Party Content

Some third-party tools embedded on our website may not be fully accessible. These include:

  • Booking page hosted through Housecall Pro

  • Embedded maps from Google Maps

We are in active communication with third-party providers to ensure these components meet accessibility expectations, but we recognize that control over their full compliance may be limited. We therefore declare partial compliance on the pages where these tools are embedded.

Accessibility Arrangements in Our Physical Location

As a mobile-based service business operating throughout Los Angeles County, we do not operate a public-facing office or storefront. However, we provide services at client locations and our field teams are trained to respect and accommodate accessibility needs, such as:

  • Respecting service animals and ADA-compliant requests

  • Using low-noise or low-vibration equipment on request

  • Communicating in accessible formats upon request (e.g., printed instructions, large print)

If specific physical accommodations are needed during your scheduled service (e.g., mobility access), please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
